Together with her sister Nina Isabel, she attended schools in which First Nations and other children with different cultural backgrounds were welcomed. Isabel is currently living within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at high school. Her agent in 2002 discovered that she had not appeared in a production prior to. She auditioned for a role on Home and Away (1988). The producers felt she wasn't right for the part but were sufficiently impressed to create a different role that she could play Tasha. Isabel played for three years in her first television role and won an Logie Award (for new popular talents) for her appearance. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. Her first big role came from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, Isabel was in many US-based and Australian film and television productions. She also won several awards. Isabel acted recently on Bosh & Rockit a fast-emerging Australian classic and the soon to be-released film Lunacy. Isabel has recently completed Sons of Summer. She is also in the preproduction stage for her character Marie Curie with award winning filmmaker and writer Annika Glas.
